RIM announced this morning at BlackBerry World that native email, contacts, and calendar would be coming to the BlackBerry PlayBook. These features are available now with BlackBerry Bridge, but this will disconnect that and allow you to access this all via the BIS or BES. This update is coming this Summer but has no specific date.
