Google has gone and made the Nexus S official. The Nexus S, the successor to the Nexus One, features a 1GHz processor, front and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, and a 4″ Countour Display. Additionally, this phone features NFC (near field communication) that allows you to read information from NFC tags. It is a short-range wireless technology that can be embedded in things like movie posters, stickers, and t-shirts. The Nexus S will come out running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Nexus S will be available on December 16th from all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores. The phone will be sold unlocked for $529 or $199 on a contract with T-Mobile.
