The first Android-powered phone I can really get behind
Some quick notes:
If you’ve read my Droid2 review (or anything I’ve previously written/tweeted regarding Android) you know that I’ve always been a supporter of the Android platform but felt the technology too nascent and inconsistent in its earlier iterations. I am the type of person who needs [...]

Well today was the day…
Thousands of people lined up throughout the country to receive their iPhones at 7 AM sharp.
Cheers erupted as employees turned on the lights (although air conditioning in our Natick, MA store didn’t turn on until 9 AM- and boy, was it hot!!) and let the first wave of customers with reservations in the door.

Gmail users who use the Exchange protocol to sync their contacts, calenders, and push email encountered a nasty surprise upon upgrading their iPhones to iOS 4.0.
Hundreds of people flocked to Twitter in the early morning and afternoon to report that their iPhones could not connect to m.google.com in order to synchronize contacts, calenders, and mail.
As [...]

Looks like Mr. Mossberg from the venerable Wall Street Journal may have broken the news on the Storm 2 earlier than expected.
Even though RIM and Verizon have not officially announced the phone, Mossberg’s review confirms what many have been saying all along- that the Storm 2 will have a supremely improved touchscreen (although that’s not a high [...]

Nokia’s E71 is often lauded as one of the toughest, most capable smart phones and I had high hopes for the AT&T version- the E71x.
Form factor:
At a svelte 4.45 x 2.25 x 0.39 in and weighing in at just under 4.5 oz, the E71x is billed as the “world’s thinnest smartphone” -and it lives up [...]
