RIM shows off the Webkit Browser at Mobile World Congress

We all know that the BlackBerry browser needs a major overhaul. When comparing it to the iPhone browser, it is just pathetic. For that reason, RIM previewed their new Webkit Browser at Mobile World Congress this morning. The RIM executives say that this browser renders pages faster than the current browser. However, notice in the YouTube video that the phone is using Wi-Fi so don’t use it as a speed test. This browser will be available sometime this year.
