Garmin Offers One Hundred Dollar GPS for BlackBerry

Garmin has a new offer for all the BlackBerry users. Pay them $100 and you will have unlimited GPS for life. But the catch is life is the life of the phone, not your life. So for all of us who change phones every month or two, this is not the best deal. TeleNav charged $10 every month, so in the long run the Garmin deal is not too bad.

Not a bad deal for people paying $10/month for VZ Nav. Say you have your new Curve for two years. That’s $240 for VZ Nav until you get your new BlackBerry. Save $140 per BlackBerry. Help pay for the next one.

Granted, it may not work with Verizon at all, since they like to cripple native GPS capabilities to force VZ Nav.
