Clearwire discontinues the Clear iSpot

Five months after its launch, the Clear iSpot has been discontinued. The Clear iSpot was created to only work with Apple devices and was only 4G compatible, lacking 3G. It was priced at an attractive rate, only $25 a month for unlimited 4G. Sheldon, an official Clear representative said:

The only locations currently available to purchase an iSpot are at certain retail stores. These stores only have a limited supply and once sold out will not be ordering more. We do however have the iSpots in stock for devices still under warranty that need to be replaced. If you have further questions please contact us by chat or phone.

So the iSpot is no longer available after current stock is depleted. However, the company still offers many other mobile broadband cards including the Clear Spot 4G+ that we reviewed earlier this year.
