Google Voice app for iPhone gets rejected by Apple

Google Voice was psyched to release it’s application for the BlackBerry and it was a great success without any problems. Since this went along so nicely, Google Voice created an app for the Apple iPhone.

Later on, we learned that the application along with all the other Google Voice enabled applications were pulled off Apple Store citing that they “duplicate features that come with the iPhone.”  Now we’ve heard that Apple has blocked Google’s official Google Voice application from the App store. This is a real disapointment for users that have the iPhone with Google Voice but it still is a beta and is only available for residents in the U.S.
