After much speculation, RIM has finally announced the BlackBerry Curve 8520 and added it to its website. The BlackBerry 8520 is going to be the first BlackBerry with trackpad navigation and out of box Mac compatibility. We are unsure why RIM is still making 3G-less devices, but that is another issue. The 8520 features Wi-Fi, 2.0 megapixel camera, bluetooth, and a 320×240 pixel screen.
RIM, along with T-Mobile, has also announced the availability of the Curve 8520 on the T-Mobile network. We told you on Saturday that there was speculation of a August 5 launch, but it is now official. The phone will be available in T-Mobile stores, Wal-Mart stores, select dealers, and online.
BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is designed to be efficient and convenient. It introduces an avant-garde touch-sensitive optical trackpad, which makes scrolling and alternative smooth and easy for a great navigation experience.
