Most BlackBerry Storm owners know that the phone is in desperate need of an OS update to speed it up a bit. There have been numerous reports of a OS 4.7.0.75 and a 4.7.0.76 being leaked. From what we have heard it speeds up the device making switching between the two keyboard much smoother than with OS 4.7.0.65.
But it is going to finally be official later today when Verizon allows its customers to download the update either over the air or via the computer. Verizon employees recieved and email yesterday letting them know all about the new update and how to deal with it.
UPDATE: The OS update is already available through Verizon’s website. You should be able to download it now and follow the directions to properly install it on your Storm.
