Looks like Rogers are starting to pay more attention on Android phones versus Windows Mobile. They have just released the new Samsung Galaxy Spica Android device. The device has a 3.2” AMOLED touchscreen and super slim 13mm design. It comes with 2GB of expandable memory, a 3.2MP camera and a powerful 800 Mhz processor so you can run multiple apps at once. It will be launching with OS 1.5 but will be upgradeable to 2.1 later on. The device goes on sale today and can be purchased for $79.99 with select 3 year voice+data plans.Get em while they’re hot!

Verizon Wireless has introduced the Samsung Omnia II on its network today. The Omnia II is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone that runs Swype technology that allows for easy typing without even lifting a finger. With built-in Wi-Fi, the Omnia II allows for fast internet browsing at home or on Verizon’s network. The Omnia II has a 5 megapixel camera and a 3.7″ AMOLED display that allows for great pictures. The phone is available today for $199.99 with a two year contract.

The Samsung Forever has just been released today for Rogers Wireless at a price of $79.99 on a 3 year term or $279.99 without a contract. There’s not much too say about this phone. It’s not a smartphone so you can use Rogers Unlimited On-Mobile Browsing plan, and this phone also supports the 3.5G network. It’s a niffty phone for those teens that like touchscreens.

Today Samsung announced the Samsung Moment that runs Android. The phone will be coming to Sprint, however we have no specific date. The phone features a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen with a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out.

Microsoft recently announced the availability of “Windows phones” (AKA Windows Mobile 6.5 phones). Starting on October 6th, these phones will be available on carriers all over the world including AT&T, Bell, Sprint, TELUS, and Verizon. These phones are from various manufacturers including HP, HTC Corp., LG Electronics, Samsung and Toshiba. Windows Mobile 6.5 introduced a new OS that has a lot of new features. The user interface has been redesigned to be more touch friendly and make everything easier to use. It will also have a new version of Internet Explorer that will be much improved.

A new memo has leaked from Sprint’s super-tight vault that shows some new phones launching on September 3rd. Among these phones are the HTC Touch Pro2 and the Samsung Instinct s50. We are still unsure of a price point on these devices, but we are fairly certain that this document is legit and on point.

Boy Genius Report got their hands on an exclusive picture of T-Mobile’s next Android phone, the Samsung Bigfoot. The phone is rumored to be coming out sometime this summer and will have some impressive features along with this ugly color. The Bigfoot is UMTS/HSDPA capable, a 3.0″ touch screen, and a three megapixel camera. This has not been 100% confirmed, but we would put money down that this comes true.

Samsung announced earlier today the the Samsung I7500 will be its first Android smartphone. This phone will be available in June on major European carriers. The I7500 has tons of features like Wi-Fi, 3G, full web browser, a 5 megapixel camera, and 8GB of internal memory. With a 3.2″ AMOLED and a full touch screen, this phone is going to have a sharp display.

We have been talking a lot about the Sprint Instinct S30, which is set to launch on April 19th. While Sprint is going to be selling the device for $129.99 after mail in rebate, Best Buy will be selling it for only $49.99 with a new two year contract after instant rebate. Customers who are upgrading will pay $129.99.

Today AT&T has launced the Samsung Propel Pro as planned. You can buy the Propel pro for $149.99 with a two-year contract. This comes just days after the LG Xenon launch, showing that AT&T is trying to push “text friendly” phones to its customers.
The Propel Pro runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a QWERTY keyboard. It is 3G capable, GPS compatible, and has a three megapixel camera.
