A member of CrackBerry forums has leaked a new BlackBerry Storm 9530 beta OS for everyone to try. This is the first leak for the 9530 since 4.7.0.141, which leaked at the end of April.

OS 4.7.0.141 has just made its way into the internet for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. From what we hear, this OS will speed a lot of things up and reduce lag. Don’t worry Verizon customers, you should be getting this OS pretty soon from your carrier.

Telus has gone and released OS 4.7.0.122 for the BlackBerry Storm. This comes after Canadian carrier Bell released it early this month. There is going to be a new BlackBerry Storm coming that will feature Wi-Fi and will drop on Verizon. We are still wondering why RIM just didn’t put Wi-Fi in the first Storm, but that is for another rant. It is also rumored that the new Storm will have an improved touch screen.

It has been a long time since Verizon released an official firmware update for the BlackBerry Storm. Engadget has confirmed that Verizon is going to release firmware 4.7.0.113 as the next official OS for the BlackBerry Storm. There is no word on when they will be releasing it.
