T-Mobile-branded Nokia Lumia 710 press shot leaks

T-Mobile and Nokia are hosting an event on Wednesday for the Lumia 710 launch, that is pretty much confirmed. The Lumia 710 is an entry-level Nokia Windows Phone, while the Lumia 800 is the higher end Nokia Windows Phone. Nokia reports poor results, shipments down 34 percent

Nokia had an earnings call on Thursday where the company reported some pretty disappointing news for investors. The company’s smartphone shipments went down by 34 percent over the same quarter last year. That makes for 16.7 million shipments.

Nokia’s first Windows Phone devices will run Mango

Apple overtakes Nokia as it becomes the world’s largest phone vendor by revenue

Apple has taken the spotlight off of Nokia’s revenues. Apple stated that its revenue in the last quarter increased to $11.9 billion. This compares to Nokia, whose revenue from phones dropped to $9.4 billion.
