SmrtCase announced the availability of its new case design, the SmrtCase Glide. The case is slim, comes in colors, and protects the phone… So what makes this case different? It comfortably carries two cards (credit cards, id cards, etc) and allows for easy access with a “thumb-glide”. The SmrtCase Glide is currently available for the iPhone 3G/S and the BlackBerry Tour but will releasing cases for the BlackBerry Bold 2 and BlackBerry Curve this Spring. The Blackberry Tour has been the talk of the BlackBerry world for the past few months. Rumors are floating around that the phone is going to drop on July 13th on the Verizon network, but it has yet to be confirmed. Today someone went to visit www.vzw.com/tour and found a little surprise. Instead of saying that the page is not valid, the website redirects to store.vzwshop.com/bbtour which give a directory not found page. However, the redirect confirms that the phone is coming to Verizon soon and will indeed be called the BlackBerry Tour.

Bell customers can consider themselves lucky. They will be getting the BlackBerry Tour 9630 in mid-July according a anonymous source. Verizon customers, we still do not have a date for you.
Along with this great piece of news coming some great documents. An internal spec sheet has leaked out with tons of information about the upcoming phone. Here are the specs:

An internal document from Sprint has leaked with some great information on it. This document shows that Sprint is currently testing the BlackBerry 9630 (which we now know to be the BlackBerry Tour) and the HTC Snap in alpha/beta. According to this document, the BlackBerry 9630 was added to the demo list on February 9, 2009. The HTC Snap was just added on April 10. There is still not release dates on these devices, but it does show that Sprint is getting them ready to launch in the future.
