Today RIM announced the upcoming release of two new BlackBerry devices, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a CDMA device that will presumably be replacing the BlackBerry Tour. The device adds a trackpad, more storage, and Wi-Fi. The Bold 9650 will be available in the United States in May. No mention of which carriers, but we can assume it will be Sprint and Verizon. RIM also announced the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. The company is proud to say that this is the smallest BlackBerry device yet. This one comes in two different styles, one with a 20-key QWERTY keyboard and another with a 14-key traditional phone keyboard. The Pearl 3G is also the first BlackBerry device to feature WiFi 802.11 b, g, and n. The Pearl 3G will be available in May on several carriers. Check out more details at www.blackberry.com/pearl3G.
