Palm has just announced its new webOS phone, the Palm Pixi. This phone runs similar to the Palm Pre, but with a way different hardware. As you can tell from the picture, the Palm Pixi does not have the same slide-up design as the Pre, instead it has a candybar look. You can also tell that there is no trackball, however there is a pad in the middle that allows for touch motions for some control. The phone also has a touch screen display, 2 megapixel camera, and 8GB of built in memory.Unfortunately, this one will be launching exclusively on Sprint for now, leaving non-Sprint users to dream of webOS.

I must say that my determination to acquire a Palm Pixi with Sprint assistance was both a rational and emotional 1. I suggest, the Palm Pixi is wonderful and functional. And coupled using the provider quality of Sprint, it seems next to nothing short of the revolution inside the generating. I feel that Palm and Sprint have (practically) hit it off famously. I did a whole lot of investigation prior to acquiring the Pixi but overlooked at least 1 issue. The Pixi doesn’t, yet, let me synchronize my e-mails among it and Outlook. As far as I’m concerned, this is a drawback I am facing unless Palm comes up which includes a remedy easily. With my earlier SmartPhone running a Windows OS, it was a snap to synchronize e-mails and other information with one’s Personal computer. But Pixi’s inability to do so is making existence a tiny hard for me mainly because I have to Bcc each and every e-mail, I send out, to my e-mail address after which manually transfer it towards the ‘sent’ folder in Outlook. I hope Palm, or at lowest a third-party, will arrive up with a remedy really quickly that will easily allow me synchronize all my e-mails, and ideally all required data, between the Pixi and my office Pc.
