Nokia had an earnings call on Thursday where the company reported some pretty disappointing news for investors. The company’s smartphone shipments went down by 34 percent over the same quarter last year. That makes for 16.7 million shipments.
During the call, the Nokia’s CEO, Stephen Elop, said that the Windows Phone Nokia devices are looking good and that the company has a plan to launch in specific countries systematically. Another point he brought up was that early results of Dual SIM devices are looking good and that the company is on track to deliver more products this year.
