The next Windows Phone update, codenamed Mango, will be a major update for the Microsoft-made platform. Many of the new features were introduced today including improved multitasking to help the Windows Phones become even more powerful. Another feature is Bing Audio, which will identify song artists and names, similar to how Shazam does. Turn-by-turn navigation in Bing Maps will allow for users to navigate around new areas without needed a physical GPS. Other features include:
- Bing Vision – Camera-assisted search functions
- Speech recognition in texting app
- New podcast player.
