Amazon pushed out an update on Saturday to it’s website allowing iOS devices to stream music right from the Safari browser. Previously, Amazon was not compatible with iOS devices and could not used on the iPhone or iPad without a workaround. No press release or big announcement was sent out, it just silently was updated for compatibility. You will first be greeted with an unsupported browser page, but can skip past it and use the Cloud Player.
Amazon Cloud Player is a service recently launched by Amazon allowing users to store their music on the cloud and stream it anytime. Users are given five free GB and can purchase more for around one dollar a GB.
