iPhone 3G customers who are not yet eligible for the discounted price on the iPhone 3G S have been bitching about it since the announcement of the new iPhone. It seems all that bitching has paid off today, when AT&T made an announcement saying early iPhone adopters would be eligible for the upgrade price. But how early? If you are an iPhone 3G customer and you are eligible for your upgrade in July, August, or September, you will be offered the discounted price. Changed to the customer’s upgrade date will be changed tomorrow, so don’t call up customer service just yet.
